At the permanent exhibition of the Estonian Museum of Natural History, you can explore Estonia’s geological history, the origins and present state of our mires, as well as our forests and meadows. You will be greeted by a rich display of mammals, birds and insects.

Ilmar and Verner Kaur "Nearby nature"

Until March, the museum's staircase gallery will feature a selection of nature photographs born from the shared passion for nature and photography of father and son – Ilmar and Verner Kaur. Ilmar, who works as a weight-loss surgeon by day, and 11-year-old Verner, began their photography journey in 2024 on a trip to Uganda.
